From the Counter to the Coast: Our Top 3 Local Coffee Stops
At Monarch & Third, we believe the perfect day starts with two things: a great outfit and an even better cup of coffee. Whether we’re prepping for a new listing or taking a slow Saturday morning to enjoy the Golden Isles, we definitely have our "usual" spots.
If you’re visiting Brunswick or St. Simons Island (or if you’re a local just looking to switch up your caffeine routine), here are the three coffee shops we can’t live without.
- Daddy Cate’s Coffees (Historic Downtown Brunswick)
The Vibe: Like stepping into a friend’s cozy kitchen. It is warm, welcoming, and full of historic charm.
Why We Love It: When we’re spending time in Downtown Brunswick, Daddy Cate’s is a non-negotiable. It’s a true local staple where the owner likely knows your name. It’s the perfect place to grab a cup of organic, fair trade coffee before strolling through the historic squares.
Must Try: Their cinnamon rolls and cappuccinos!
- Ellianos - For on the Go (Brunswick - Exit 29)
The Vibe: Quick and easy drive thru for days that you are on the go!
Why We Love It: Elliano's is quick and most importantly consistent! Their friendly staff always greets you with a smile and works to get you through the line in minutes and their coffee is always delicious!
Must Try: Their seasonal lattes are always a hit, but you can never go wrong with one of their classic flavors like Tuscan Toffee!
- Palm Coast Coffee (St. Simons Island Village)
The Vibe: Funky, eclectic, and very "Island Life."
Why We Love It: Located right in the heart of the Pier Village, Palm Coast is where we go when we want coffee with a side of people watching. It has a great outdoor patio and transitions effortlessly from a morning coffee house to a lively evening spot.
Must Try: The french toast and an Iced Latte are an absolute dream!
